The Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology (IROST) invites all the researchers, inventors, innovators from all over the world to participate in the Khwarizmi International Award (KIA).
The KIA is held annaually in memory of Abu Jafar Mohammad Ibn Mousa Khwarizmi, the Iranian Muslim mathematician and astronomer. The purpose of this prestigious is to recognize and honor outstanding scientific achievements and excellent research contributions by scientists in the fields of Engineering including Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical and Civil Engineering, Materials Sciences, Information Technology, Aerospace, Medical Sciences, Basic Sciences, Renewable Energy, Agriculture, Biotechnology and Nanotechnology.
The research works should fall into one of the following categories: Invention, Innovation, Applied Research, Fundamental Research, and Development Research.
