THE SYMBOLISM RESEARCH AND IDENTIFICATION OF LORO BLONYO STATUE ART THAT HAS “HAKI” BASIS AS AN EFFORT TO CONTINUE JAVANESE CULTURE AND SOCIAL ENVIRONMENT BALANCE CONCEPT

Loro Blonyo – The purpose of this research is to know the visual aspect wholly that consist of size, model and style. The process of visualization class includes the tools and materials that are used.  The research aimed also to describe the symbolism meaning (non visual aspect).
This research model is qualitative descriptive with gathering the interview data, FGD, observation and seek references. The concrete step is done with record technique and shooting so that the whole data can be gotten.The discussion and research result show that loro blonyo statue is made from jati oven wood, nangka, mahoni, pule and sengon. The particular tools needed to make the statue are saw, axe, pethel, some kinds of knives, carver inlay, and any others. For example: grindstone, drill, etc. the size of loro blonyo can be classified into three groups. The first is big, that is loro blonyo statue length 150-170 centimeters. The second is in average that is loro blonyo statue length 50-100 centimeters. The third is small that is loro blonyo statue length 10-20 centimeters. The making process of  loro blonyo is begun from: Bakali, cutting the woods, making sketch, perautan (to smooth by cutting), and finishing with giving ornament detail and polishing. The most important step in finishing is coloring with aklirik paint or doing batik process. This batik process is almost same with batik process in making cloth. The difference is melamine final touching in order that shiny.Many loro blonyo statue styles and shapes belong to Keraton (royal palace), nobles, public or contemporary models show the same with each other, although there are also some differences. For example: the proportion used of colors, and finishing the whole shape belongs to royal palace is smoother than the others. But the noble’s statue is smoother than the public’s statue. While, the newest product is looked profane. It is reflected on using the light color and attribute that is made from woods. The expression shows that the statue that is decorated noble’s home looked mystic, moreover the royal place’s statue. It is very difference from two contemporary statue figures ands statue that is decorated people’s home. The expression form of royal place or noble’s statue looked more mystic-religious than kawula (common people), moreover loro blonyo statue product at this time.Javanese people conscious that the human origin and end place is God. Worldly, the human origin is the result of reproduction between lingga and yoni that is presented with the parents, father and mother as a couple of loro blonyo statue. Morally, the origin of wiji (germ or seed) called wiji kodrat is from God, father and mother descend wiji wiradhat and only wadhag that intermediary. So that Javanese people consider that life is few times as the person who travel only mampir ngombe. So they do mystic to make their life balance perfectly, and life prosperously. They also want to be close with God.According to young generation must know symbolism and philosophy meaning of loro blonyo statue as Javanese culture cosmology illustration so the culture contexts is not lose. And we are not influenced with foreign culture easily.
