Mountainous land topography which very steep in most of land and kind of crop plants had potential for causing erosion and sliding disaster. Sibermas team in 2008 has recomended to farmers to make terraces, planting in contour line, using kind of strong border plant, and attention of plants kind which strengthen resistence by erosion and sliding disaster. One kind of plant for land conservation was salac, because of its rooting system and wide of canopy make its resisten of rain fall for erosion and land sliding. The aims of the research were : 1) to know the kind of cultivars of salaca suited for planting which has resistency of land erosion and sliding and productive, 2) to know the irrigation and fertilizer combination which suited for salaca plants, 3) to expand and everlasting of salac germ plasm ex situ from erosion and monoclonalism, and 4) to make the model of farmers empowerment by planting salac and its land conservation. Research action method was used by combined the land experiment and the empowerment model by farmers groups for salac plantation for the prosperity after land sliding disaster. Experiment arrange in plots demonstration consist of three factors : 1) salac varieties (Pondoh Super, Gading, Nglumut, Pondoh Jantan, dan Pondoh Hitam), 2) irrigation (sprinkle 2 and 4 hours), and 3) fertilizer (organic = 5 kg/plant, and anorganic = Phonska = 30 gr/plant). The model of farmers empowerment built by farmers group of salac plantation. The research result some conclusions : 1) kind of varieties suited for land conservation and production were : Pondoh Super, Gading, Nglumut, dan Pondoh Hitam salac, 2) combination of irrigation and fertilizer system was accepted for land conservation, 3) the formation of farmers group of salac plantation was accepted by farmers and they want to, 5) continue and expand the salac plantation groups in Beruk and Wonorejo Village for their prosperous.
